From Novel to Script to Screenplay
North Sea Screen Partners members nordmedia and FilmFyn hosted an international residential screenwriting workshop for writers and producers in Bremen, Germany in June 2011. The seminar was delivered by author, screenwriter and director Brendan Foley, Hollywood producer Ned Dowd ("Last of the Mohicans", "Apocalypto"), and producer Lars Hermann, and was attended by participants from around the North Sea Region.
The seminar provided a great platform for knowledge sharing and networking, and was a thouroughly enjoyable experience for all. Workshop leaders Brendan and Ned provided an insight into why they think events like these are so vital to industry training (see the video below).
