North Sea Screen Partners member Bergen Media By invite you to learn how the newly appointed Film Board pictures Bergen as a filmatic center in the future. The official unveiling of the committee's brand new report takes place at Manøver! And what can the film industry learn from the music industry? In a world of digital distribution and filesharing - how do we relate to IPR as manufacturers, distributors and consumers?

The Film Board got a mandate this fall to assess the municipal support system within the film area. Martin Smith Sivertsen (Chairman) presents the committee's conclusions and recommendations at Manøver.
In the subsequent panel discussion you will meet: Lars Løge (Flimmer Film), Eldar Nakken (Media Circus), Hilde Værnes (Filmkollektivet), Pål Øie (ind. director).

Law-abiding consumers
require services and content that is easily accessible. Today's business models are passé. Film and music producers and distributors need new distribution channels and new thoughts on copyright. How can the selection of films, and especially Norwegian films, be easily and legally available to Norwegian consumers? Norwegian music is made available via Spotify, Wimp and Beat - what can the film industry learn from the music industry's experiences?
Joining us in the debate, we have an expert on rights and digital distribution Trond Tornes from Phonofile, and visionary Eric Vogel, producer at Tordenfilm.

Chat and mingling is an important part of Manøver! Those who are just going to meet colleagues, are certainly welcome to do so! We will transfer audio and video from the cafe to the lounge area for those who wish to follow comfortably withdrawn.
