Presentation: The Development of Industry-Led Higher Education Programmes - For The World of Film In Denmark

Members of North Sea Screen Partners will give the above presentation as part of the Space European Network For Business Studies and Languages Autumn Meeting and Conference 2010 in Kavala, Greece.

The presentation will be given by Susanne Bækholm, Helle Karina Pedersen, Rikke Møllehave, Fiona Jurk from Erhvervsakademiet Lillebælt (EAL) / Tietgen Business School, Odense.

North Sea Screen Partners - which is supported by Interreg IVB - aims at supporting the development of existing clusters in the film/TV/interactive media sector through transnational working within and between clusters to build the capacity of companies, particularly SMEs.

One of the main aims of the project is to encourage screen agencies, policymakers, business support agencies, educational institutes, research centres, media companies to network, to identify best practice & deliver workshops & master classes to raise skills levels and promote knowledge transfer.

This paper - based on a model for cluster development developed by The Danish Authority of Enterprise and Construction - will  focus on the benefits for HEIs to support cluster development.

The presentation will be delivered on Friday 8th October at 9am.
