International App Development Conference and AppJam

NSSP member Dundee College, as part of the Interreg funded Creative City Challenge project, are staging a 3 day International App Development Conference to take place in Dundee, Scotland, from the 8th - 10th November 2010.

This key event will run as part of NEoN Digital Arts Festival and will bring together the very best in professional app development from around the North Sea Region. Platform providers, developers and other industry professionals will provide practical, hands-on knowledge transfer together with a real insight into the future of apps development. 

Who should attend?

If you are already an app developer, or someone who is looking to get into app development, this conference is for you – with a program of essential information to get you developing that killer app and connect you with all the people to make it happen!

Running parallel to the main conference will be a 48 hour ‘App Jam’ where selected participants will work in small, international, multi-discipline teams to develop original ideas into practical applications. The teams will be supported by industry lead workshops and surgeries, and encouraged to help each other out with problem solving and production while sharing their skill set to achieve final publication.
